Data & Account Deletion

You own your data and can remove it at any time — including the account connections and metrics that social platforms sent us through Cast. Here’s exactly how.

Last updated July 15, 2026.

Disconnect a social account

In Studio, open Settings → Connections and choose Disconnect next to the account. This immediately revokes and erases the access and refresh tokens we stored for that platform. We stop having any access to the account. Content you already published stays on the platform (it’s yours) — remove it there if you want it gone.

Delete specific content

Deleting a post or media item in Studio removes the stored video, caption, and the metrics we collected for it. This does not delete the copy already published on a social platform — manage that from the platform itself.

Delete your entire account

In Studio, open Settings → Account → Delete account. We remove your profile, media, connected-account tokens, published-content records, and analytics within 30 days. Billing records are retained only as long as tax law requires. Deletion is permanent and can’t be undone.

Request deletion without logging in

You don’t need to sign in to have your data deleted. Email privacy@flowcorder.com from the address on your account, or use the “remove app / delete data” option a platform (such as Instagram or TikTok) shows you for Flowcorder — that request is routed to us automatically. We verify the request, complete deletion within 30 days, and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

Connected-account tokens, uploaded and rendered media, captions, scheduled and published post records, and the insights we pulled for your content. Data held by the social platforms themselves is governed by their policies — use their tools to remove content there.
